To Lt.
Governor and Secretary of State Kim Guadagno
We, the undersigned citizens and
qualified electors of the State of New Jersey, respectfully direct that this
petition be directed to move Voter ID legislation A674 and S200, which would
require a person to submit government issued photo identification in order to
vote, out of committee and put on the November 6th Ballot for a
vote by the people.
We respectfully petition the
Legislature to adopt the proposed measures, and each of us for himself or
herself says:
I
have personally signed this petition, I am a qualified elector of the State
of New Jersey in the city (or town), county and
congressional district written after my name, my residence address is
correctly stated and I have knowingly signed this petition only once. As a
citizen of the United States. I
am declaring my support for more stringent Voter ID laws for federal, state
and local elections as a means of protecting and preserving the democratic
process. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
